Training Essentials Newsletter

One of the benefits of AFP membership is access to learning systems that help extend knowledge in global treasury.

One way to keep up with AFP's training tools is to receive the quarterly Training Essentials Newsletter, which includes the latest information about online educational resources, custom assessment and training options, online learning systems, and the expanding Body of Knowledge" that AFP maintains.

Recent issues have highligted AFP's international training programs and AFP's customized assessment, which helps an organization assess staff strengths and weaknesses in six areas of finance, as well as the new Body of Knowledge, which is revised every three years. According to the newsletter, "the major difference in this edition of AFP's Essentials of Treasury Management is the introduction of the 'why' in addition to the 'how'."

The newsletter has also highlighted AFP's Custom Information Service, a private label portal that can be customized for an organization, drawing from AFP's deep archive of articles, data, training materials, news feeds, technology and other media, as well as a number of third party services, and which is constantly monitored by AFP's professionals.
