Making International Payments More Efficiently
For those of you who are constantly frustrated by how difficult it is to make international payments, this session is for you. With the technology that exists today, making cross-border payments should be easy, but in the current environment it has never been more difficult.

This half-day session looks at the reasons why making international payments continues to be challenging and reviews ways in which they can be done more efficiently. What are the most efficient/cost effective ways to make high value, urgent payments overseas? What if the payment is not urgent? What if it is low value? Under what circumstances can a check payment be made? What is happening in Europe and does SEPA help the company? Can a SWIFT solution be achieved cost-effectively? Learn about both simple techniques and the latest hi-tech solutions.

Learning objectives:

  • Review the different players in the process
  • Understand the different ways in which international payments can be made
