When do you need to recertify?
You need to recertify every three years. Recertification happens in June for everyone. So, if you're recertifying for the first time, and you took your exam in the winter, you'll recertify a little earlier the first time.
When you're logged in, you can see the date that your certification expires. Just click on “My AFP”, then navigate to AFP Recertification What's required to recertify?
You need to earn 36 continuing education credits, then submit your recertification.
These continuing education activities should be related to the current edition of the CTP Body of Knowledge, Essentials of Treasury Management. Activities don't have to be sponsored by or pre-approved by AFP. You should assess activities to be sure they qualify. Continuing education covers many categories and activities. Earn 36 recertification credits by June 30. Report your credits.
Pay the recertification fee.
Special Circumstances
